Qualifications

• Education: B.A. or B.S. in English, Journalism, Health Sciences, etc., or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in content editing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical content editing.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership and development: Supervise daily team activities, provide clear direction, onboarding, training, coaching, and professional development while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Operational oversight: Set priorities, allocate team resources, and coordinate workloads to deliver departmental objectives and meet deadlines and project timelines.
• Editorial quality: Oversee content editing and review processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines and standards.
• Quality governance and issue resolution: Implement quality guidelines, coordinate review cycles, and resolve or escalate content-related issues.
• Cross-functional coordination: Partner with clinical leads, contributors, consultants, and other departments to align work activities and support timely content delivery.
• Continuous improvement: Monitor content quality and workflow outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes that reduce errors.
• Content strategy and modernization: Contribute to departmental content plans and execute initiatives that improve content usefulness, structure, and reuse.
