The US Oncology Network is recruiting a Senior Medical Coding Auditor to join Texas Oncology in Richardson, TX. This full-time role supports the Revenue Cycle Department with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.

Under minimal supervision, the auditor performs comprehensive code-and-document reviews, investigates concerns, and tracks corrective actions. The position emphasizes compliance, accuracy, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a four-year degree preferred.
• Seven years of relevant experience in professional fee coding, coding audit, reimbursement, or related revenue cycle roles.
• Three years of professional fee coding audit or complex coding review experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, CMS guidance, NCCI edits, and payer requirements.
• Professional coding credentials (CPC/CCS-P/COC) with active auditing credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex reviews involving coding, documentation, billing, reimbursement, systems, and workflows.
• Conduct audits, data validation, claim review, and medical record review; determine findings.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve identified issues and track actions.
• Prepare concise reports of findings and recommendations for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and organizational standards.
