Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a highly experienced Senior Medical Coder to support coding, billing, documentation compliance, and revenue cycle operations in a clinic setting. The role requires high-volume coding, independent work, and strong collaboration with providers and billing staff.

The ideal candidate will hold CPC or CCS credentials, have 5+ years of medical coding experience, and be able to work on-site 4 days per week with standard or 10-hour shift blocks. Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• > Active CPC certification through AAPC or CCS certification through AHIMA required.
• > Minimum 5+ years of medical coding experience or equivalent specialized clinical auditing/CPMA experience.
• > Senior-level coding proficiency with ability to independently manage high encounter volumes.
• > Willingness to work on-site in clinic 4 days per week for standard 8-hour shifts or a 10-hour shift block.

Responsibilities

• Assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes according to current guidelines.
• Review and process encounters for coding compliance and revenue capture.
• Investigate and resolve coding issues leading to claim edits or disallowed claims.
• Provide coding education and guidance to providers and billing staff.
• Support continuous improvement of revenue cycle operations.
