Prime Healthcare is seeking a Medical Billing Lead to oversee billing, coding, and follow-up activities for revenue cycle operations. The role includes training staff, monitoring AR, and ensuring payer compliance.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and experience with Epic, clearinghouse software, and regulatory standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Competenze

Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements and 3–5 years of billing experience.
HIPAA confidentiality requirements and strict privacy.
Experience with Epic, Excel, Word, and clearinghouse software.
CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding knowledge for Medicaid and Medicare billing.
Ability to understand and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Customer service experience required.

Mansioni

Review coding, documentation, and claims in Epic to ensure accurate and compliant billing before submission.
Submit and follow up on insurance, workers’ compensation, HMO/PPO, and other third-party claims through final resolution.
Train and support billing staff, clinicians, and providers on coding guidelines, payer policies, and billing processes.
Monitor charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denials, rejections, and monthly AR reporting.
Assist with provider and facility credentialing, process development, compliance initiatives, and resolution of patient billing concerns.
