This position supports staff with escalated issues and participates in training and process improvement efforts. Under general direction you will help maximize revenues while ensuring compliance and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or related duties.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Proficient in basic math and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to Collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform billing tasks including data entry, claim review, charge review, and AR follow-up.
• Provide input on processes and policies to maximize revenues.
• Handle escalated issues and support staff training.
• Identify payer/coding issues and coordinate with management.
• Review reports to identify revenue opportunities and delays.
• Ensure compliance and patient confidentiality in all duties.
