Job summary

Pure Infusion is seeking a Billing Specialist who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and committed to improving healthcare behind the scenes.

You will submit and manage claims, post payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve denials while collaborating across teams to keep patients financially informed.

This role requires 5+ years of medical billing experience and proficiency with EHR/EMR, Microsoft Office, and specialty reimbursement workflows.

Job description

We are seeking a Billing Specialist who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about improving healthcare behind the scenes. You’ll ensure timely, accurate reimbursement and help patients access life-changing treatments without unnecessary financial stress.

What You'll Do

• Submit and manage claims for biologic infusions and other services
• Post payments, reconcile patient accounts, and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
• Resolve denials and unpaid claims with precision and urgency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with intake, clinical, and supervisory teams
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients—professionally and empathetically
• Identify process gaps and help drive continuous improvement
• Share knowledge openly—no gatekeeping here

What You Bring

• 5+ years of medical billing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of EHR/EMR, clearinghouses, and payment workflows
• Understanding of specialty billing and biologic reimbursement
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• A growth mindset—excited to learn and teach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infusion billing or AMD platforms
• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy workflows
