NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Senior Medical Assistant to support physicians, APPs, and nurses in delivering patient care. This role includes clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, processing lab specimens, as well as scheduling and data entry.

The Senior MA will also train new staff, manage patient flow, and coordinate between clinical and administrative teams to enhance the patient experience. Proficiency with Epic EMR and compliance with HIPAA are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program.
• Current medical assistant Certification (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA).
• Minimum of 3 years MA Experience in faculty group practice or hospital.

Responsabilidades

• Train new hires as primary trainer.
• Measure and record vital signs; obtain and process blood samples.
• Perform clerical duties: scheduling, phone calls, data entry.
• Assist physicians/APPs and nurses in patient care.
• Maintain infection control and clean exam rooms.
