Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program is required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for visits.
• Measure and record vital signs and collect blood samples as needed.
• Schedule appointments, answer calls, and perform data entry tasks.
• Transcribe patient encounters into the EMR (Epic) and support physician workflow.
• Maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines to protect information.
