Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a full-time Senior Medical Assistant for Breast Care in the Creve Coeur area. The role involves direct patient care under physician supervision, with emphasis on lab testing, EHR documentation, and smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of outpatient experience, strong phlebotomy and EKG skills, and CPR certification. This is a fast-paced, NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS setting with a 40-hour work week and day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to five years of experience is preferred in outpatient care.
• CPR or equivalent certification is commonly expected.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains charting.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triages calls, provides test results to patients and communicates with the provider.
• Assists provider by preparing patients for exams, procedures and treatments.
