Texas Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Webster, TX location. This entry- to senior-level role will assist physicians and clinicians with patient care, clinic support, and routine administrative tasks in a busy oncology setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion from an accredited MA program, and 0–5 years of MA experience with BCLS/CPR; CMA cert is a plus. Expect a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing career growth within Texas Oncology.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–3 years experience as MA or nursing assistant for Level 1.
• BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred; state-specific certs may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and physician offices.
• Record patient data (vital signs, allergies, meds) before visits.
• Obtain necessary patient records for treatments.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms; assist with exams/procedures.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as delegated.
• Maintain exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Answer calls and schedule referrals; input prescriptions as directed.
