Job summary

Chase Brexton Health Care in Baltimore is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support across primary care and specialty services. This role includes direct patient care from intake to checkout and mentoring fellow staff.

The Senior Medical Assistant will help with precepting, training, and ensuring regulatory readiness, infection prevention, and safe, efficient clinic operations across service lines.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• Certified Registered Medical Assistant (CRMA).
• CPR Certification before the start date.
• 5+ years of experience as a medical assistant in various clinical environments.
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Performs all patient care responsibilities assigned to the Medical Assistant position.
• Provides timely, professional, patient-centered service to patients, families, visitors, and care team members.
• Assists with pre-visit planning, referrals, labs, and health records as assigned.
• Mentors other Medical Assistants and supports training and competency development.
• Ensures infection prevention, environment-of-care, and regulatory readiness.
