Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Sr. Collections Representative to manage Third-Party AR and work on denials. This role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST in Irving, Texas. The position offers a starting pay of $21+ per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility based on performance.

You will contact insurers, resolve issues, ensure HIPAA compliance, and strive to meet daily production and quality targets while handling refunds and escalations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to create/modify spreadsheets.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST.

Responsibilities

• Manage Third-Party AR by analyzing denied and un-responded claims.
• Outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve issues.
• Familiar with explanation of benefits.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining the work list according to metrics.
• Meet or exceed daily quality standards.
• Process insurance/patient refunds and adjustments.
• Respond to emails regarding AR issues in a timely manner.
• Research payors and inform of updates to medical policies/bulletins.
• Review billing requirements and denial trends with payors.
