Job summary

Ascendis Pharma in Princeton, NJ seeks an Associate Director, Medical Affairs to support the US Medical Director for phase 4 studies, registries, pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities. You will review promotional materials for accuracy and collaborate across functions to inform decision-making.

The role requires PharmD/PhD with 5–8 years of medical affairs experience, with a focus on rare endocrine disorders. On-site in Princeton three days per week with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum PharmD/PhD with 5–8 years of industry medical affairs experience.
• Experience in rare endocrine disorders or related diseases preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as medical/scientific reviewer of promotional assets and ensure claims are evidence-based.
• Provide medical guidance to cross-functional teams (Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, etc.).
• Develop and implement medical strategies and tactical plans for the US market.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to publications and medical education efforts.
• Represent Medical Affairs in internal and external meetings and strategic discussions.
