Job summary

GDIT in Fort Detrick, MD, is seeking a Product Management/Acquisition Analyst with Army medical experience to support the acquisition lifecycle for medical products, from science and technology to sustainment of fielded devices.

You will gather information with PMs and SMEs, prepare milestone documentation, maintain schedules, develop cost inputs, track action items, and present briefing materials to leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Prior military medical acquisition experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• NACI (T1) public trust.

Responsibilities

• Gather information required for acquisition documentation with Product Managers and SMEs.
• Develop, edit, and maintain acquisition milestone documentation (Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Material Fielding Plans, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain project management schedules, Gantt charts, and action item lists.
• Develop and update schedules and assist in providing input for Life Cycle Cost Estimates and IGCEs.
• Populate and maintain tracking of action items and respond to external information requests.
• Conduct market research and recommend acquisition strategies to strengthen medical capabilities.
• Communicate with personnel at various echelons and present to leaders.
• Develop briefing slides and participate in meetings.
