Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Management/Acquisition Analyst with extensive Army medical acquisition experience. The role focuses on supporting products from science through sustainment, coordinating with PMs, SMEs, and leadership to ensure timely, compliant documentation and decision reviews.

The position emphasizes proactive stakeholder engagement, robust scheduling, and cost estimates, with hybrid work at Ft. Detrick, MD.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Required Experience: 8+ years in military medical acquisition or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS).

Responsibilities

• Gather information for acquisition documentation with PMs and SMEs (RMF, Logistics, Software Engineers).
• Develop and maintain acquisition milestone documents per DoD 5000 regulations.
• Prepare schedules, IMS/Gantt charts, and action item lists for assigned products.
• Assist with Life Cycle Cost Estimates and Government Cost Estimates input.
• Track action items and respond to external information requests timely.
• Conduct market research and analyses to support acquisition strategies for medical requirements.
• Create briefing slides and present findings to leadership; mins for meetings.
• Participate in special projects as requested.
