Index Analytics, LLC, a Baltimore-based health data consulting firm, seeks a Senior MedicaidData SME to support federal healthcare clients in Baltimore and the DC area. You will transform complex Medicaid data into actionable recommendations, leveraging analytics, statistics, and policy knowledge.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance health outcomes, policy impact, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health, data, or IT field is required.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience with healthcare data or analytics.
• Experience with Medicaid/CHIP policy and data environments.
• Proven ability to analyze large healthcare datasets and derive insights.
• Strong communication, reporting, and client-facing deliverables skills.

Responsibilities

• Research best practices and support developing Medicaid/CHIP solutions and value-added products.
• Perform routine business analysis using statistical methods, data mining, and predictive modeling for Medicaid datasets.
• Validate documentation of Medicaid data and analytics issues and identify undocumented items for documentation.
• Contribute to training curricula and analytics content for modules.
• Produce ad hoc data and visualizations for clients using industry best practices.
• Provide insights to improve health policy and outcomes through qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Collaborate with analysts, policy SMEs, and data scientists in an agile team.
• Develop technical deliverables (presentations, reports, manuscripts) with clear viewpoints.
• Communicate findings to clients and scientific audiences, translating complex ideas clearly.
