Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Power BI & Databricks ETL Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for Medicaid data. You will develop BI models and dashboards to support claims, eligibility, provider networks, and program integrity, while enforcing data governance and security.

The role emphasizes ETL/ELT expertise with Databricks, strong knowledge of Medicaid data structures, and collaboration with policy teams to meet state reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of programming or testing experience with relevant languages and databases.
• Experience supporting state Medicaid agencies, MMIS modernization, or Medicaid analytics.
• Familiarity with T-MSIS, CMS reporting, and state Medicaid data standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Databricks ETL/ELT pipelines for Medicaid data assets.
• Build Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports for Medicaid operations.
• Collaborate with program staff to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data governance, PHI/PII protections, and CI/CD for BI artifacts.
