Job summary

Dalton is seeking an experienced Senior Media Planner to join our Media team in Atlanta or Jacksonville. This role is ideal for a strategic, curious and collaborative media professional who knows how to turn audience insights, data and business objectives into smart, effective media plans.

As a Senior Media Planner, you will play a key role in cross-channel media planning, strategy, implementation and campaign management while maximizing performance for our clients’ business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of media planning experience in advertising or media agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
• Analytical skills to interpret data insights for optimizing campaigns.
• Interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and clients.
• Proficiency in media planning tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective media strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives.
• Hands on with research, strategy, planning, buying, campaign execution, implementation and optimizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, creative and web development, to implement media recommendations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, digital marketing technologies and developments to implement cutting-edge strategies.
• Maintain budget control and ensure execution of media plans by authorizing approved media schedules and monitoring buys/schedules.
• Maintain good rapport with sales representatives and vendors.
• Explore media alternatives and be creative in recommending media solutions.
• Deliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities.
• Responsible for management of media estimates, insertion orders, billing, and reconciliation.
