Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior-level Media Malware Analyst to support USCYBERCOM operations by identifying and analyzing sophisticated malware threats targeting the DoD network. You will conduct forensic analysis, reverse engineering, and threat reporting to inform defensive measures and incident response.

The role requires extensive malware analysis experience, strong tool proficiency (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Wireshark, Volatility) and clear communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph required.
• BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, or related field (or within 1 year of hire).
• Eight+ years’ malware analysis, incident handling, and reverse engineering experience.
• Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, Wireshark, Volatility, sandbox environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic analysis of vulnerable or compromised systems and media, identify adversary TTPs, and lead static/dynamic malware analysis including reverse engineering.
• Create technical analysis reports with actionable intelligence, deliver threat briefs to leadership.
• Develop and maintain threat indicators, hash lists, and risk assessments; support enterprise malware analysis tools.
