Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Journeyman-level Media Malware Analyst to support USCYBERCOM operations. You will identify and analyze sophisticated malware threats targeting DoD networks, perform static/dynamic malware analysis, and prepare detailed reports for leadership.

You will work on-site with USCYBERCOM J3, CNMF, and JTF-ARES to enhance threat detection, risk assessments, and cyberspace operations support, applying state-of-the-art tools and threat intelligence methodologies.

Qualifications

• Five+ years’ demonstrated proficiency in malware analysis (static/dynamic).
• Experience with incident handling and reverse engineering.
• Ability to produce actionable intelligence and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate threat intelligence to support USCYBERCOM operations.
• Conduct static and dynamic malware analysis and report findings.
• Create technical analysis reports and deliver briefings to leadership.
• Research open-source intel to inform threat assessments and signatures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance threat response capabilities.
