Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior-level Media Malware Analyst to support USCYBERCOM operations, performing malware analysis, incident handling, and threat intelligence. The role requires on-site work at US facilities and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities include leading forensic analyses, writing technical reports, and developing detection signatures while coordinating with USCYBERCOM and CNMF teams to enhance threat response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years' demonstrated proficiency in malware analysis (static/dynamic), incident handling, and reverse engineering.
• Strong familiarity with network protocols, OS internals (Windows/Linux/UNIX), and cyber threat analysis.
• MS/BS in a cybersecurity-related field or equivalent experience with certifications could supplement the degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic analysis of vulnerable or compromised systems and media and identify adversary TTPs and intrusion artifacts.
• Develop and maintain validated MD5 hash lists for signature repositories.
• Create technical analysis reports with actionable intelligence findings and deliver threat briefs to leadership.
