Job Requirements

Are you passionate about paid media and scaling businesses through user acquisition growth? Do you have a passion for the PPC industry and optimizing campaigns? We are seeking a world-class media buyer to help us expand our presence on Bankrate.com, focusing on funnel performance through paid media arbitrage. Our goal is to evolve our paid media strategy towards Social, Native, and Display platforms, leveraging top-tier data tracking, creative content, and compelling messaging.

What You'll Do:
  1. Create and execute innovative paid media campaigns aimed at affiliate arbitrage, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Manage the strategic vision and execution of campaigns across Social, Native, and Display channels.
  3. Analyze campaign data and provide actionable recommendations for rapid and profitable scaling.
  4. Translate complex competitive landscapes into insights for team execution.
  5. Coordinate with external vendors to amplify campaign impact and results.
  6. Deep dive into data and tracking to help build a sustainable paid media platform.
  7. Utilize tools like SQL, LLMs, GTM, and Python for data analysis and attribution insights.
Work Experience

What We're Looking For:

  • Passionate media buyers experienced in data-driven marketing and profitable paid campaigns.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, particularly in direct affiliate arbitrage.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and optimize performance.
  • Ability to manipulate data from various sources and understand data creation processes.
  • Extensive experience with Social, Native, and Display advertising platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams to develop effective ad assets.
  • Expertise in tracking and attribution tools, including GTM, pixeling, and server-to-server uploads.
  • Self-motivated with ownership mentality and adaptability to evolving strategies.
  • Preferred knowledge of the financial services industry and paid media landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels and with external vendors.
Benefits

Compensation

  • Range: $100,000 - $140,000 (US), $125,000 - $175,000 (NYC). Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
