Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a skilled mechanical/electromechanical technician to independently build and test custom equipment on our fast-paced electrical engineering teams. You will fabricate, panel-build, and assemble test systems, maintaining 6S standards and collaborating with engineering to push the limits of automated test equipment.

This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, a bias for learning, and the ability to manage multiple projects while aligning with safety and quality

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 2–5 years of related field experience.
• Proven expertise in power tools, assembly systems, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, waterjet and press brake.
• High pace environment, agile, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex mechanical and electromechanical builds for custom test systems.
• Maintain 6S workplace standards and clean environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of automated test equipment and control systems.
• Interpret blueprints and documentation with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities while meeting safety and quality expectations.
