Job summary

JLL is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in the Monee, IL area to lead service teams, troubleshoot automated packaging equipment, and design maintenance solutions. You will mentor technicians, manage projects, and ensure safe, efficient operation of conveyors.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, blueprints reading, and experience with CMMS. On-site work with travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics and managing work orders.
• Ability to adjust schedules including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Experience with mechanical or electrical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging equipment.
• Design solutions and manage maintenance projects.
• Train and mentor technicians.
• Create and close work orders with labor, parts, and hours.
• Maintain conveyors and troubleshoot relay logic and sensors.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
