Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Bayonne, NJ, is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design practical solutions and manage projects, and you will train and mentor junior technicians and contract staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors, wiring, PLC programs, and control components; creating work orders with labor hours and parts usage; ensuring safety and quality across the Operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with material handling equipment ( conveyors, controls).
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics; CMMS and PLC exposure.
• Leadership experience mentoring technicians and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians on installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Maintain safety and positive relations across the Operations facility.
