Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in Control Systems, Mechatronic Product Development, Industrial Power and Control Panels, or related technologies.
• Proven track record developing new products from concept through prototyping, testing and validation.
• Strong capability in PLC programming and controls logic development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Translate product and system needs into clear controls requirements and technical solutions.
• Develop controls architecture for mechatronic systems including remote monitoring and diagnostics.
• Select platforms and devices to meet modularity, scalability and performance requirements.
• Integrate electrical, mechanical and controls components to ensure functionality.
• Create, edit and maintain PLC programs using listed platforms.
• Plan and perform validation, testing and troubleshooting to verify performance.
• Improve controls functionality and integration with intelligent diagnostics.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, product management and suppliers to meet requirements.
• Contribute to design requirements, validation records and technical reviews.
