Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Lead Technician to support testing, validation, and continuous improvement for industrial clutch and brake products. This role operates in a fast-paced engineering environment, executing experiments, maintaining test readiness, and ensuring high-quality performance. Sponsorship is not available.

The candidate will analyze results, maintain equipment standards, and enable continuous improvement initiatives across product development and production teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant technical or manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using test equipment and manufacturing tools.
• Proficiency with instrumentation and related software used for test setup, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining technical equipment in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with industrial clutches and brakes, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execute, and document engineering experiments to support product development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze and interpret test data to identify trends, evaluate product performance, and support engineering recommendations.
• Maintain and verify calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards.
• Perform basic fabrication and assembly of test fixtures and prototypes to support testing activities.
• Troubleshoot and support technical equipment to ensure consistent and efficient operation in test and manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and product performance.
