Job summary

RTX in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Mechanical Product Team Lead to drive mechanical engineering for the Sentinel portfolio. This onsite role will require travel to suppliers and collaboration across IPTs to ensure design, integration, production and program execution.

You will lead mechanical teams from concept through manufacturing, applying Creo Parametric or SolidWorks, and coordinate with program leadership as a primary technical authority on TDPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Demonstrated front-line or program leadership experience.
• Experience leading a team with cost and schedule responsibilities.
• Experience across radar lifecycle stages and multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and programmatic execution for mechanical engineering across Sentinel products.
• Staffing planning and collaboration with leadership to meet demand.
• Develop subsystems with solid modeling and CAD tools (Creo/SolidWorks).
• Identify and resolve issues with program and functional leadership.
• Ensure system design, integration, production and execution across IPTs.
• Manage risks and opportunities with mitigation plans.
• Serve as technical authority for the system data package.
