Job summary

Raytheon’s Fullerton Field Engineering team supports Sentinel radar systems at the Fullerton site and abroad, performing maintenance, integration, testing and modification activities.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience in system integration and testing, plus hands-on use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes and power meters. Travel up to 80% CONUS/OCONUS and lifting requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in system integration & test of hardware and software.
• Experience using technical manuals, interpreting drawings and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with basic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Digital Multimeters).

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment, taking inputs from team leads and guiding other engineers.
• Support hands-on integration and test at the Fullerton Test Site.
• Support flight tests, training events, and radar modification activities on CONUS/OCONUS sites.
• Provide troubleshooting, maintenance and operational support for radar systems.
• Develop test plans and procedures for various customers as applicable.
• Communicate issues clearly to leadership and coordinate resource needs.
