Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; 9+ years experience, or an advanced degree with 6+ years experience.
• ABET-accredited program is preferred.
• Proven experience in systems engineering for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering to support the design process, requirements development, verification, and traceability across lifecycle.
• Develop and integrate systems engineering concepts throughout projects and testing.
• Use digital tools (DOORS, Windchill, CoLab) for requirements management and collaboration.
• Create, revise, and manage design baselines and documents (SDDs, F&OR, ConOps, COR).
• Reconcile discrepancies between databases and document control systems; ensure synchronization and traceability.
• Develop macros, scripts, and tools to automate documentation and requirements tasks.
• Support risk analyses and reliability modeling using MBSE/SysML and related data sources.
• Explore AI-assisted workflows to improve completeness checks and design reviews.
