Job summary

Boeing St. Louis is seeking Entry Level or Associate Mechanical System Design Engineers to develop and modify air vehicle subsystems using 3-D CAD tools, supporting the product lifecycle from design to external customers in the Greater St. Louis region.

The roles require a BS in engineering, potential security clearance, and collaboration across disciplines; relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are available. Locations include Berkeley, Hazelwood, St. Louis, St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Materials).
• Level 2: 2+ years' related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience using NX / Teamcenter and familiarity with reading 2-D drawings.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Some positions may require Special Program Access; US Citizenship only.

Responsibilities

• Assist with documenting air vehicle subsystems requirements to establish the system design.
• Develop, maintain and modify air vehicle subsystems and component designs using 3-D CAD tools to define product embodiments.
• Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Assist with supplier development, test and production activities to optimize the design and meet program goals.
• Work under supervision (Level 1) or general supervision (Level 2).
