Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy, a leader in utility-scale solar EPC projects, seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to provide technical expertise, supervise on-site teams, and ensure safe, productive execution of mechanical construction tasks including pile, racking, and module installation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Site Manager and other superintendents, cost control, and adherence to project specifications and safety standards across diverse field operations.

Qualifications

• Prior Solar EPC mechanical construction oversight.
• Valid driver license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.
• Good communication skills with owners and employees.
• Solid understanding of job costing.
• Relocation to project community is required.
• Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents.
• Knowledge of federal and state codes for the project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise General Foremen, Field Engineers and Foremen on-site to ensure optimal use of resources and compliance with policies.
• Schedule equipment, materials, tools, and subcontractors to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with other projects to share resources and align schedules.
• Mentor Field Coordinators and Foremen on scope, cost, quality, and safety.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulations on site; manage training and safety practices.
• Communicate project status and issues with Site Manager; participate in RFI development.
