Tampa Electric seeks a Manager of Mechanical System Reliability to lead the development and execution of standardized maintenance strategies for mechanical assets in Energy Supply. You will collaborate with asset management leaders to determine asset health, risk, and recommended actions across the fleet.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 6 years in design, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, with preference for combined cycle experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program or recognized equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and power delivery systems.
• Experience leading mechanical reliability teams in a utility environment preferred.

Mansioni

• Establish and oversee continuous reliability management for mechanical systems across ES fleet.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct GADS reporting, and manage changes to mechanical systems.
• Lead PdM programs and risk-based inspections using thermography, vibration, and NDE.
• Develop and maintain thermodynamic models to improve heat rate and efficiency programs.
