Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Senior Mechanical R&D Test Engineer in Warsaw to lead mechanical AIT for the next-gen optical spacecraft. You will design and build MGSE and satellite-level qualification mass models, enabling vibration/shake tests and qualification campaigns for space readiness.

You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to feed test learnings back into design, influence early concept and late prototyping, and ensure on-time performance under tight timelines in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical AIT and test campaigns.
• Can-do attitude with a hands-on engineering mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
• Experience with vibration testing and mechanical validation; MGSE design.

Responsibilities

• Execute qualification and acceptance vibration tests for new satellites and subsystems, and design the satellite-level qualification mass model.
• Design, build, and maintain the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for testing and integration.
• Lead flight model integration, create AIT procedures, and transfer knowledge to production.
• Feed findings back to design teams and drive design changes from concept to proto.
