Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Project Manager, Mechanical, to lead QA activities within our Data Center Construction team in Baton Rouge. The role emphasizes coordinating with owners, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure rigorous quality standards across mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of PM experience in mechanical environments, strong governance and reporting skills, and proficiency with Procore, Smartsheets, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically with mechanical systems in built environments.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Communicate across internal teams to ensure efficient delivery to the client.
• Track and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify governance, processes and systems are utilized on projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
• Interface with suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
• Assist in cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
