Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee planning and execution of mechanical and HVAC/sheet metal operations for commercial construction projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and adherence to specifications.

Your role requires strong knowledge of HVAC systems, project management best practices, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and change orders across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience on commercial mechanical/HVAC projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply effective and innovative project management techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction PM software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a positive relationship with internal project teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, estimating, purchasing, CAD/BIM, fabrication shops, and client personnel.
• Develop and maintain mechanical project schedules and major equipment delivery timelines.
• Review and approve mechanical equipment submittals (AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, VAV boxes, VRF systems, exhaust).
• Scope and procure mechanical materials and subcontracts; oversee RFIs, RFPs, submittals, and budget revisions.
• Manage change orders and ensure budget integration; prepare revenue forecasts and cash flow analyses.
