Job summary

MLP Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in commercial HVAC or plumbing construction.

You will take full ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing large-commercial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and financial targets. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and field leadership, leading engineers and administrative staff to deliver projects on time and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated project management experience in commercial HVAC or plumbing construction.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore is a strong advantage.
• Superior verbal and written communication; strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: establish master schedules, coordinate materials, major equipment procurement, and subcontractor workflows to meet milestones.
• Preconstruction & Scope: review drawings, blueprints, and specs to understand scope and identify VE or clash items early.
• Cost & Deliverables Monitoring: track deliverables, labor productivity, and budgets in real time; adjust as needed.
• Stakeholder Communication: maintain transparent, timely updates with clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders.
