Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Technical Project Manager to lead mechanical infrastructure delivery for a large data center campus in Charlotte, NC. The role spans from design development through procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, and turnover, ensuring systems are maintainable, reliable, and operationally ready.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering mechanical systems on large, complex capital projects.
• Experience managing mechanical systems through design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, and closeout.
• Experience reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation.
• Experience managing mechanical contractors, engineering consultants, OEMs, and equipment suppliers.
• Experience owning schedule, cost, quality, risk, and change for mechanical scope.
• Experience on large-scale facilities such as data centers or other technically complex environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
