Job summary

Fierceli Inc is seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Project Manager (or Principal) to lead our product development team across robotics, life sciences, consumer hardware and automated systems. You will mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and drive high-impact electromechanical programs with clients and external partners.

The role requires a BSME, 8+ years of design experience, and a proven track record delivering 2+ complex electromechanical products end-to-end.

Qualifications

8+ years hands-on mechanical engineering design and development experience.
Proven track record managing 2+ complex electromechanical products end-to-end.
Experience leading interdisciplinary teams, including external partners/suppliers.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Hands-on expertise designing injection-molded, sheet metal, and machined components.

Responsibilities

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
Partner with clients to capture requirements, brainstorm solutions, and define product roadmaps.
Collaborate with Industrial Design, UX/UI, and Electrical Engineering to refine product visions.
Perform mechanical analyses: tolerance, FEA/CFD, fluidics, heat transfer, shock and vibration.
Create detailed designs, documentation, and production-ready packages.
Manage vendor relationships for prototyping, tooling, and manufacturing.
Test prototypes and generate technical reports.
