Job summary

Core States Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion for an Architecture and Engineering business unit. You will coordinate HVAC, plumbing/piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will manage project plans, budgets, staffing, and client relations, while ensuring code compliance and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
8+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production for commercial projects.
PE License required.
Revit and MS Office required, AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects and clients, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
Lead client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
Manage project plans, staffing, budgets, and schedules.
Provide constructability, code compliance, and system coordination guidance.
Oversee financial performance, profitability, forecasts, and related metrics.
Coordinate internal teams and external consultants across all phases.
Review project documents for QA/QC.
Identify risks and opportunities for proactive resolution.
Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Designers.
