Job summary

SpecSys Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical components for mobile equipment, manage complex projects, and provide direction to engineers.

You will select components, perform CAD work, run analyses, prepare manuals, and collaborate with manufacturing and PMs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires leadership, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with mobile equipment systems.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in mechanical, agriculture, electrical or aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of proven project experience.
• MBA, MS in engineering, or other advanced degree is appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verifying the design meets performance and configuration specifications.
• Contract management to verify the project is completed on time and on budget.
• Customer management to understand expectations and standards.
• Providing work instructions for engineers, designers and drafters.
• Coordinating resources of project teams.
• Developing and updating project timelines.
• Providing performance and status of projects to management.
• Performing engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
• Managing buyer and supplier interactions for BOMs and materials.
