SpecSys Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design work for mobile equipment, including structural, fluid power and powertrain systems.

The role involves managing complex projects and guiding other engineers, with collaboration across engineering and manufacturing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Qualifications include 8+ years of project experience and a Mechanical/Engineering degree; MBA is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven project experience.
• Experience with design of mobile equipment systems and heavy machinery.
• BS or MS in mechanical, agriculture, electrical or aerospace engineering.
• MBA or advanced degree appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verify designs meet performance and configuration specifications.
• Manage contracts to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Coordinate resources of project teams and develop timelines.
• Provide work instructions for engineers, designers and drafters.
• Review CAD models for completeness, interferences, and manufacturability.
• Generate and review bill of materials for completeness.
• Prepare progress reports and present to customers.
