Job summary

SpecSys is seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design for mobile equipment, including structural, fluid power and powertrain systems. You will manage complex projects and provide direction to other engineers, coordinating with manufacturing and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of project experience, a BS/MS in mechanical engineering, and ability to work across CAD platforms.

Qualifications

• BS or MS engineering degree in mechanical, agriculture, electrical or aerospace fields.
• 8+ years of proven project experience.
• MBA or other advanced degree valued but not required.
• Experience with mobile equipment systems and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering teams on mobile equipment projects.
• Verify designs meet performance specs and client standards.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee CAD work across multiple packages; review models and drawings.
• Prepare BOMs, technical data, and project status reports.
• Interface with manufacturing, sales, and quality teams.
