Job summary

EwingCole is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead complex building design in our Irvine office. You will oversee project delivery from schematic design through construction documents, coordinate across disciplines, ensure compliance with codes and design intent, and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a PE license, and a strong background with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
• Registered PE in at least one state.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite.
• Healthcare design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead documentation and modeling to deliver projects.
• Coordinate across disciplines and manage complex scopes.
• Ensure codes, design intent and quality standards are met.
• Mentor junior staff and project engineers.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources across multiple projects.
• Support construction administration and client communication.
