Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Nashville is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead HVAC design for advanced facilities and energy-efficient building systems.

You will guide the design process, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality solutions for research, healthcare, and higher education projects. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience, a PE license, and proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE or equivalent engineering degree.
• 15+ years designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare, or higher education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners; responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a discipline.
• Develop innovative design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs; leads the team in implementing solutions.
