Job summary

Pacifico Energy in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to serve as the owner's technical authority for the design, procurement, and EPC execution of multi-unit gas turbine power facilities with integrated storage.

You will lead engineering teams, evaluate technology options, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with OEMs, EPCs, and owners to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable power assets across lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in open cycle gas turbine projects or similar.
• Strong knowledge of turbine auxiliaries and packaged systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as owner's technical authority for design, procurement, and EPC execution.
• Lead technology selection and performance guarantees for gas turbine projects.
• Coordinate with OEMs, EPCs, and owner teams to ensure schedule and risk management.
• Oversee feasibility studies, heat/mass balance, and thermal performance calculations.
• Ensure compliance with air permitting, emissions, and safety requirements.
• Provide ongoing engineering support for operating assets and outages.
