Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager focused on gas turbines for power-generation projects integrating gas turbines, PV solar, and energy storage for large facilities and data centers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience with gas turbines for power generation.
• Familiarity with various gas turbine types and their auxiliary systems; experience with microgrid design in industrial/data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop gas turbine systems for power generation projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze performance of gas turbines using real-time data and simulations to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Coordinate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to manage turbine procurement, scope of work, and project execution.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and industry standards are met throughout all phases.
