Job summary

Envanio is seeking a Project Engineer - Mechanical in Wisconsin to lead OEM/AMS project design, perform P&ID development, thermodynamics calculations, and support sales and operations from conception through fabrication. The role emphasizes delivering sound engineered solutions while maintaining cost competitiveness.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience, strong CAD and SAP skills, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• Ten+ years of position-related experience.
• Strong background in process development and design (thermodynamics, heat/mass transfer, industrial ovens and heating systems).
• Ability to read instrumentation drawings and process diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer specifications.
• Perform complete system design, analysis, and engineering calculations.
• Develop P&ID and mass & heat balance.
• Size and select purchased equipment (fans, burners, dampers).
• Supervise subcontract engineering and CAD design teams.
• Coordinate with project team, customers, and suppliers.
• Travel ~20% for 1–2 weeks per assignment.
