Career Collective is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (PE) to design, analyze, and oversee mechanical systems for diverse projects in Minnesota.

You will work with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure systems are designed and constructed to meet performance, safety, and code requirements. This role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering with construction industry background.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of mechanical systems for projects (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Conduct thorough analyses of systems (new and existing).
• Develop detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and reports per codes and standards.
• Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and change orders during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
