Job summary

Distinctive Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) in the Twin Cities to design, analyze, and supervise the implementation of mechanical systems for diverse architectural projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, engage with project managers, and ensure adherence to ASHRAE, IPC, and VA TIL standards using AutoCAD, Revit, Trane3D Plus, HAP, AutoPipe, and BlueBeam Revu. Minimum 3 years PE experience and ABET‑accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Professional Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Experience with energy load software like Trane3D Plus or HAP.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems per project scope.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Review pipe stress analyses using AutoPipe.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
• Use Revit for integrated project designs and conduct site visits.
